Carried Out, Not Left at the Curb
Our appliance removal in Lakeland sends a crew to the kitchen, laundry room or garage, carries the unit through the house and loads it up. You do not have to schedule a curb pickup, hire a helper or rent a dolly. One call covers the lifting and the hauling.
Appliances We Haul
- Refrigerators and freezers.
- Washers and dryers.
- Stoves, ovens and ranges.
- Dishwashers and microwaves.
- Window air conditioners and water heaters.
A broken appliance is welcome. So is a working one you are replacing. If you are clearing a whole room, we can take the furniture at the same time.
How the Job Runs
- Call or text with the appliances, their location and any stairs.
- We give a free quote based on volume, with no obligation.
- We pick a time. Same-day and next-day slots depend on availability.
- The crew clears the path, carries the appliances out and loads up.
- We haul everything away and leave the area clear.
Why a Hauler Beats the Curb for Appliances
Refrigerators, freezers and window air conditioners contain refrigerants, according to the EPA. Under EPA rules, the final disposer of an appliance is responsible for recovering any refrigerant it contains, and the EPA notes that municipalities may require refrigerant to be recovered before they accept appliances for pickup. If you are unsure what your city or county requires, confirm with them and tell us when you call.
Polk County accepts refrigerators, freezers and air conditioning units at its landfill under a white goods category, and it charges a lower rate when the Freon has already been removed and the refrigerators are empty.
City Pickup Versus a Hauler
The City of Lakeland collects used refrigerators, air conditioners, water heaters, washers and dryers with a special bulk truck, after the customer arranges a bulk pickup. Refrigerator and freezer doors must be removed. Customers get four free yard waste or bulk junk collections per calendar year, up to 20 cubic yards each. That works when you can move the appliance to the curb and wait for the date. We come inside, carry it out and take it the same day or next day, depending on availability. For the full list of city rules, see our guide to Lakeland bulk pickup.
Outside the city limits, the county picks up curbside furniture and appliances one day a month. A hauler is the answer when your pickup day is weeks away or the unit is too heavy to move.
What Shapes the Price
Pricing follows volume: one stove costs less than a kitchen full of appliances. Stairs, tight doorways and long carries take more time. Disposal can depend on type as well, since Polk County sets fees per ton by material type, with scrap metal as its own category. Our junk removal cost guide covers each factor.
Common Appliance Jobs
- A kitchen or laundry upgrade with delivery day coming.
- A rental unit with appliances left behind.
- A garage holding a second fridge that no longer runs.
- A larger junk removal job where the appliances are just part of the pile.
We serve Lakeland and nearby towns such as Auburndale, Winter Haven and Haines City.
Timing Around Delivery Day
If a new refrigerator is arriving on a set day, tell us when you call and we will do our best to fit your schedule. Same-day and next-day jobs depend on availability, and the earlier you call, the better the odds.
Before We Arrive
Empty refrigerators and freezers, and clear a path from the appliance to the door. If a washer or dryer is hooked up, tell us how, and let us know about any stairs. For gas or electrical connections, ask the person who installed the unit about the right way to disconnect it. Our crew handles the lifting from there.
