Junk Removal Across Polk County, One Crew
Junk removal in Polk County means a lot of ground. Polk County sits in the central portion of Florida, and its county seat is Bartow. Lakeland is the largest city in Polk County, and that is our home base. From there we cover Winter Haven, Bartow, Mulberry, Auburndale, Haines City, Davenport and Lake Wales, plus Plant City just over the line in Hillsborough County.
Whatever the town, the pitch is the same: one crew hauls the junk and cleans the space. See our junk removal and house cleaning pages, or browse every service on all services.
We Take Over Where the County Curb Stops
In unincorporated Polk County, curbside furniture and appliance collection happens once a month on a scheduled day, and construction debris and eviction or move-out cleanouts are not collected. The curbside program does not collect whole trees, stumps, land clearing debris, tires, auto parts or household hazardous waste. Polk County tells residents to use a commercial hauler for non-conforming material or bulk waste, and it publishes a list of local commercial haulers.
For the monthly pickup, use the county. For what sits outside it, a roofing job, a tenant’s leftovers or a pile too large to wait for the next scheduled day, we are the call. Our lakeland bulk pickup guide covers the city side of the rules, and foreclosure and eviction cleanouts covers the unit side.
Small Towns in Our Service Area
Our service area goes past the big names. Here is a short tour of the smaller towns we serve.
Lake Alfred. Lake Alfred is home to the UF/IFAS Citrus Research and Education Center, the University of Florida’s first off-campus center, established in 1917. US 92 leads west to Auburndale and Lakeland.
Polk City. Polk City is the starting point of the General James A. Van Fleet State Trail and holds an annual Founder’s Day festival in its midtown park. SR 33 (Commonwealth Avenue) runs south from Polk City to Lakeland.
Highland City. Highland City is a census-designated place, not an incorporated city, on US 98 northwest of Bartow. Its street addresses use Lakeland’s street grid, and the community includes many mobile homes.
Eagle Lake. US 17 is the main road through Eagle Lake, running north to Winter Haven and south to Bartow. Eagle Lake and nearby Lake McLeod each have a boat ramp.
Fort Meade. Fort Meade is the oldest city in Polk County, with a historic district of more than 300 homes on the National Register of Historic Places. Many historic homes there are being bought and restored.
See our service areas page for the full list.
Phosphate, Citrus and Properties of Every Age
Polk County’s economy has traditionally rested on phosphate mining, agriculture and tourism, and it was the leading citrus county in the United States for much of the 20th century. Our estate cleanouts, yard waste removal and construction debris removal services fit homes and properties across that landscape.
Businesses are covered too. Our commercial cleaning crew offers after-hours and weekend visits, and dumpster rental suits large cleanouts.
Permits Go to the County, Debris Goes to Us
If your project needs a permit, Polk County’s Building Division, with an office in Bartow, handles permits for construction and demolition of any building or structure regardless of size. Call the Bartow office and ask for a plans examiner. Cities have their own offices, so confirm with the one that covers your address.
Tell Us the Town
