Junk removal and dumpster rental solve the same problem in two different ways. We do both, so we have no reason to push one over the other. The right pick comes down to who does the work, how long the project runs and what you are getting rid of.
Let Our Crew Do the Lifting: Full-Service Junk Removal
With junk removal, you point and we load. Our crew carries items from inside the house, garage or yard and loads them up. It suits one-day jobs, heavy or awkward items, and anyone who does not want to spend a weekend hauling.
Pricing is by volume, with a free quote before work starts. See what shapes junk removal cost for how that works. Depending on availability, same-day and next-day visits are possible.
Fill It Yourself: Dumpster Rental
A roll-off makes sense when a project runs for days: a renovation, a long cleanout or a roof. The container sits on site and you fill it as the work goes. Our dumpster rental page has the details, and all of our roll-offs are 14 yards.
Roll-Off Rates Side by Side
Delivery and pickup are included in every rental. Here is how the three compare:
- Residential, for household junk: $150 for 1 day, $325 for 3 days or $400 for 5 days. Tires and overweight loads may add fees.
- Roofing, for tear-offs: starting at $425 for 3 days, with up to 2 tons of roofing shingles in the price and extra disposal charges above that.
- Construction, for remodeling, flooring, cabinets and drywall: starting at $325 for 3 days.
Roofers, see our roofers page. Contractors, see our contractors page. Everyone else can start with the residential rate.
Which One Fits
Lean toward a haul when:
- You want everything gone at once.
- The items are heavy, bulky or upstairs.
- You do not want to load.
Lean toward a roll-off when:
- The project runs several days.
- You are producing debris steadily.
- You prefer to fill it at your own pace.
The cheapest roll-off is the $150 residential rental for 1 day. Some jobs use both: our crew clears the big items, and a roll-off handles ongoing debris.
Dumpster or the Dump?
Driving loads to a transfer station means loading your own vehicle, making trips and paying by weight. Polk County’s North Central Transfer Station is open to county residents with cars, small trucks and enclosed trailers, and Polk County charges fees per ton by material type. Whether that beats a dumpster depends on volume and time, which is why we can quote both for you.
Will It Fit? Ask Us About Your Items
Wondering whether a couch fits in a 10 yard dumpster? Tell us the item, the pile and the space, and we help you choose between a roll-off and a full-service haul.
If you rent in Lakeland, a permit or review may be required for a container on the street. Confirm with the City of Lakeland first.
A Quick Example
Say you are clearing a garage with an old freezer, shelving and a dozen boxes. A full-service haul is likely the simple option: we lift and load. Now say you are gutting a bathroom over a long weekend. A roll-off in the driveway lets you toss debris as you demo, and a haul at the end clears whatever is left. Neither answer is right for everyone, and we would rather tell you which one fits than sell you the wrong one.
What Goes in the Roll-Off
The roofing roll-off takes roofing shingles, and the residential one takes household junk. Hazardous waste, concrete, dirt and brick stay out of both. Our what we haul guide covers the yes, call-us and no lists for a full-service haul.
